Digital X-rays
Staying at the forefront of modern dentistry means more than just keeping up with new techniques—it also means investing in technologies that improve your experience and outcomes. Our practice uses digital X-ray imaging to ensure accurate diagnostics, efficient treatment planning, and enhanced patient safety.
Compared to traditional film X-rays, digital radiography significantly reduces radiation exposure, produces sharper images in real time, and allows for easier communication of findings during your visit.
We’re committed to providing care that is both comprehensive and conscientious. If you have any questions about our imaging process, we’ll be glad to explain more at your next appointment.
Intraoral Cameras
Prevention is the foundation of lasting oral health, and having a clear, detailed view of what’s happening in your mouth helps us catch concerns early—often before they cause discomfort or require more involved treatment. While X-rays are essential for diagnostics, they don’t show everything. That’s where our intraoral camera comes in.
Roughly the size of a dental mirror, this small device allows us to capture high-resolution images inside your mouth in real time. With this technology, we can closely examine areas that might otherwise be difficult to see—such as cracks in teeth, wear patterns, plaque buildup, or issues around existing restorations.
One of the features our patients appreciate most is that you can view these images on a monitor during your visit. It’s a helpful way to better understand your dental health and feel more confident when discussing treatment recommendations.
